| An alkaline-activated kaolinite/NR composite was prepared by coprecipitation of NR latex with modified kaolinite and the physical properties and structure were investigated.The results showed that when the modification time of kaolinite was 3 days，the blending temperature of modified kaolinite with NR latex was 45 ℃，and the addition level of modified kaolinite was 40 phr，the alkaline-activated kaolinite/NR composite possessed better comprehensive physical properties and the modified kaolinite was uniformly dispersed and orientationally arranged in rubber matrix，mostly with the thickness of 25～75 nm and parallel by face-to-face arrangement，and transition layer was formed between modified kaolinite and rubber matrix. |
