| A rectorite/SBR nanocomposite was prepared with emulsion co-coagulation method.The effect of the rectorite purity on the physical properties of rectorite/SBR nanocomposite was investigated，and a comparison was made between the properties of rectorite/SBR nanocomposite and montmorillonite/SBR nanocomposite.The results showed that both rectorite/SBR composite and montmorillonite/SBR composite were nanocomposites，and the aspect ratio of the dispersed phase in the former was greater than that in the latter；the high purity of rectorite was the most important factor to prepare the rectorite/SBR nanocomposite with the excellent properties.Both nanocomposites were suitable to make the inner liner or inner tube of tire because of their good air tightness，in particular，the rectorite/SBR nanocomposite with the greater aspect ratio of its dispersed phase gave better air tightness. |
