| Abstract: |
| The application of low molecular weight trans-1,4-polyisoprene wax (LMTPIW) to rubber compound was investigated.The results showed that the processibility of mix was improved by using LMTPIW instead of aromatic oil in SBR or SBR/TPI compound;the tensile strength of vulcanizate decreased somewhat,and the resilience,flexibility,heat aging property and wet traction improved;and the optimum comprehensive properties of compound were obtained when 20 phr of LMTPIW was used. |
