| Abstract: |
| The effect of the post-cure conditions on properties of epichlorohydrin copolymer(ECO) was investigated. The results showed that when ECO was post-cured,the modulus at 100% increased, the tensile strength and Shore A hardness increased at first and then decreased, the elongation at break, tensile permanent set and tear strength decreased;the heat resistance changed little;and the oil resistance at room temperature improved. The post-cure at high temperature for shorter time was beneficial to decreasing the compression set.The crosslink density increased at first and then decreased as the post-cure temperature reached 150 ℃,and the higher the post-cure temperature was,the faster the crosslink density decreased. |
