Abstract:
      The criteria for setting the presumed stretch ratio of cord δ1 in the traditional method were described.A method for emulating the presumed stretch ratio of cord based on the coupling of structural analysis and thermal analysis and the thermal swell and cold shrink characteristics of material was proposed and the influence of δ1 on the tire performance was investigated.The results showed that the O.D of tire tended to increase and the sectional width tended to decrease nearly linearly with little affect on the stress centralization.
