| Abstract: |
| The effect of the type and level of polyol on the properties of silica-filled NR compound was investigated.The test results showed that the vulcanization of silica-filled NRcompound was accelerated by polyols;the diglycol was the most active,gave the fastest vulcanization and excellent physical properties and was followed by triethanolamine,glycol,polyglycol and glyceryl alcohol;and there was an optimum level for every polyol and the optimum levels for diglycol,glycol,polyglycol,glyceryl alcohol and triethanolamine were 2.0,2.0~3.0,2.2,1.8~2.2 and 3.0~3.2 phr respectively. |
