| The effect of the type and level of polyol on the properties of silica-filled NR compound was investigated.The test results showed that the vulcanization of silica-filled NRcompound was accelerated by polyols；the diglycol was the most active，gave the fastest vulcanization and excellent physical properties and was followed by triethanolamine，glycol，polyglycol and glyceryl alcohol；and there was an optimum level for every polyol and the optimum levels for diglycol，glycol，polyglycol，glyceryl alcohol and triethanolamine were 2.0，2.0～3.0，2.2，1.8～2.2 and 3.0～3.2 phr respectively. |
