| Abstract: |
| The influence of the sulfur level and the rubber/plastics ratio on the mechanical properties of dynamically vulcanized EPDM/PP thermoplastic elastomers was investigated .The results showed that the tensile strength, the modulus at 100% elongation, and the elongation at break of EPDM/PP blends increased at first and then decreased as the sulfur level increased;the tensile strength, the modulus at 100% elongation and the hardness of EPDM/PP blends increased, and their elongation at break increased at first and then decreased as the PP proportion increased;and the PP proportion had more significant effect on the mechanical properties of the blends. |
