| Abstract: |
| The promoting effect of cobalt boracylate on the adhesion between rubber and brassplated steel cord was investigated.The results showed that the adhesion between rubber and brass-plated steel cord was significantly improved by adding cobalt boracylate RC-B16 and RC-B23,particularly after salt water aging and thermal humidity aging;and the adhesion promoting effect of RC-B16 and RC-B23 was comparable to that of Manobond C-16 and Manobond 680C respectively. |
