| Abstract: |
| The effect of ethylene thiourea(ETU)and ETU/sulfur on crosslinking of PVC and PVC/ENR blend was studied in terms of crosslinking rate,compression set,gel content,tensile properties and heat resistance etc.It was found that ETU or ETU/sulfur were the suitable crosslinking systems for PVC and PVC/ENR blend;the physical properties and the heat resistance of crosslinked blend improved significantly;the proper increase of ENR proportion was benificial to the thermal stability of PVC/ENR blend;when the blending ratio of PVC/ENR was 70/30,the optimum level of sulfur was 1.5 phr,and DM/TMTD was the best accelerating system. |
