| The high unsaturated rubber in the blend is digested selectively by the severe acid digestion and the low unsaturated rubber in the blend is qualitatively and quantitatively determined by decomposition gas chromatography or infra-red spectroscopy and thermolysis. The presence of EPDM or IIR and their exact content can be determined by the said method when the proportion of EPDM or IIR is lower than 20%. |
