| This paper introduced the use background and environmental impact of studded tire in Europe. Combined with the latest European design criteria on studded tire，the permitted use countries，use time，stud installation regulations and other additional requirements for use of studded tire were interpreted.The newly issued technical requirements and certification regulations for vehicle studded tires in northern Europe were formally implemented on July 1st，2021.The certification requirements and transition period restrictions for studded tires were analyzed. |
