• Abstract:Polytetrafluoroethylene （PTFE）（powder） was added to nitrile butadiene rubber （NBR） compounds，and the effects of PTFE dosages on the tensile properties and adrasion resistance of NBR compounds were studied.The results showed that，as the PTFE dosage increased，the tensile strength and elongation at break of the NBR compound initially increased and subsequently decreased，and Akron abrasion loss，DIN abrasion loss，friction coefficient and surface roughness variation initially decreased and subsequently increased.When the PTFE dosage reached 4 phr，the compound exhibited optimal tensile properties and adrasion resistance.The wear mechanisms of NBR compound added with PTFE was dominated by abrasive wear，accompanied by curling wear and adhesive wear.

• Abstract:Using natural latex as raw material，this study analyzed the migration rules of the phosphorus during natural rubber（NR） processing by investigating the effects of process conditions such as dry rubber content，ammonia content，latex coagulation pH value and coagulum storage time on the phosphorus migration into serum and dry rubber.The results showed that，during NR processing，most of the phosphorus element migrated into the serum，while a small portion remained in the dry rubber.When the latex coagulation pH value was adjusted from 4.5 to 4.7，the phosphorus migration rate in serum reached the highest，and then with the increase of latex coagulation pH value，the phosphorus migration rate in serum gradually decreased.The phosphorus migration rate in dry rubber was the highest at latex coagulation pH value of 4.8，and it was lower at other latex coagulation pH values.The influence of the ammonia content on the phosphorus migration rate in dry rubber was significant and positively correlated.After 10 d of coagulum storage，the coagulum storage time was negatively correlated with the total phosphorus and available phosphorus contents in serum.Through comprehensive analysis of NR processing conditions，the phosphorus migration rate in serum could be minimized to the greatest extent possible by adding a small amount of ammonia，raising dry rubber content and increasing coagulation pH value.This provided effective support for NR processing factories to improve process conditions and reduce phosphorus content in wastewater.

• Abstract:By drawing on the mechanism of electrophilic substitution reaction and combining with the molecular structure of hydrogenated styrene butadiene styrene block copolymer（SEBS），aluminum trichloride was added to eliminate the unsaturated double bonds in SEBS molecules.The effects of aluminum trichloride amount，reaction time and SEBS content（mass fraction） on eliminating unsaturated double bond reaction in SEBS molecules were investigated，and the toluene solution viscosity and low temperature resistance of the saturated SEBS were tested.The results showed that，the optimal reaction conditions for achieving complete elimination of unsaturated double bonds in SEBS molecules were as follows：the molar ratio of aluminum trichloride/double bonds in SEBS molecules was 1.2/1，the reaction time was 2 h，and the SEBS content was 10%.The fully saturated SEBS still had good fluidity and solubility，which was beneficial for polarity modification and related applications.There was no significant change in the glass transition temperature of the EB segment in SEBS molecules before and after saturation，and the fully saturated SEBS still maintained good low temperature performance.

• Abstract:The effect of eucalyptus lignin on the aging performance of natural rubber（NR） compound was studied.The results showed that eucalyptus lignin had a delayed effect on the vulcanization of NR compound，and its effect on the vulcanization rate of the compound was between antioxidant 264 and 2246.The protective effect of eucalyptus lignin on the thermal oxidative aging and ozone aging of the compound was superior to antioxidant 264，close to antioxidants 2246 and RD，and inferior to antioxidant 4020.Its protective effect on the UV aging of the compound was better than antioxidant 264 and 2246，comparable to antioxidant RD，but worse than antioxidant 4020.Eucalyptus lignin/antioxidant 4020 blending had an impact on the vulcanization rate of the compound，as the amount of eucalyptus lignin increased，the vulcanization rate of the compound slowed down，but the FL，Fmax－FL and physical properties of the compound did not change significantly.When the blending ratio of eucalyptus lignin/antioxidant 4020 was （0.5～1）∶（1.5～1），its protective effect on the thermal oxidative aging，ozone aging and UV aging of the compound was better，which was similar to that of using antioxidant 4020 alone.The blending of eucalyptus lignin and antioxidant 4020 had a synergistic protective.

• Abstract:Different amounts of octavinyl polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane（OVPOSS），N，N′-meta phenylene bismaleimide（HVA-2） and trimethylolpropane trimethylacrylate（TMPTMA） were added as co-crosslinking agents to the tetrafluoroethylene-propylene rubber compounds with dicumyl peroxide/triallyl isocyanurate crosslinking system，and the properties of the compounds were studied.The results showed that adding certain amount of OVPOSS could improve the vulcanization rate and crosslinking density of the tetrafluoroethylene-propylene rubber compound.Before aging in high temperature water，only the tensile strength of the tetrafluoroethylene-propylene rubber compound with OVPOSS was greater than that of the base compound without co-crosslinking agent.After aging in high temperature water at 300 ℃ for 24 h，the tensile strength of the tetrafluoroethylene-propylene rubber compound with 5 phr of OVPOSS was the maximum，which was 7.24 MPa，and the volume change rate and mass change rate was smaller.The tensile strength of the tetrafluoroethylene-propylene rubber compound with 9 phr of HVA-2 was the minimum，which was 0.82 MPa，indicating that the tetrafluoroethylene-propylene rubber compound had failed.The mass change rate and volume change rate of the tetrafluoroethylene-propylene rubber compound with TMPTMA showed an increasing trend.Overall，the tetrafluoroethylene-propylene rubber compound with 5 phr of OVPOSS had the best high temperature water resistance.

• Abstract:Using solution styrene-butadiene rubber（SSBR） and polybutadiene rubber（BR） as the matrix material，the tread compound formulas were designed aimed at reducing hysteresis loss，and the performance of the compounds was studied.The results showed that silica dispersibilities of the compounds using BR KBR820，liquid BR（LBR） STE60，modified high dispersible silica 400G and silane coupling agent NXT were improved，the hysteresis losses were reduced，meanwhile the hardnesses and elongations at break of the compounds decreased，and the modulus at 300%，rebound values，DIN abrasion indices and dynamic cutting amounts increased.Among them，performance-price ratios of the compounds using BR KBR820T，LBR STE60 and silane coupling agent NXT were higher.The performance improvement effect of low rolling resistance modifier DS01M under this formulation system and ordinary mixing process conditions was very small，and its compound had the lowest performance-price ratio.

• Abstract:The effect of polymerization inhibitor（unsaturated fatty acid zinc salt） and C ₉ petroleum resin on the properties of the reclaimed rubber was studied.The results showed that when polymerization inhibitor amount was 2 phr，the tensile strength of the reclaimed rubber compound was the maximum.When C ₉ petroleum resin amount was 3 phr，the Mooney viscosity of the reclaimed rubber compound was the minimum，and the tensile strength and elongation at break were the maximum.For the reclaimed rubber with a polymerization inhibitor amount of 2 phr and a C ₉ petroleum resin amount of 3 phr，its Mooney viscosity and crosslink density were the minimum，and the sol content was the maximum，meanwhile，with the increase of parking time，the changes of its Mooney viscosity，crosslink density and sol content were the minimum.

• Abstract:The structure optimization design of the oil filled compensation rubber bladder assembly for offshore oil field（using fluororubber rubber compound as the compensation rubber bladder compound） was introduced，and finite element simulation analysis and practical used verification on the oil filled compensation rubber bladder assembly after optimization design were carried out.The results indicated that，the structural optimization of the oil filled compensation rubber bladder assembly achieved the integrated structural design of the compensation rubber bladder and the metal substrate.The maximum stress of the oil filled compensation rubber bladder assembly after optimization design was reduced，and it was in good working under vacuum pumping and high-temperature（175 ℃） oil filling，meeting the actual use requirements.This integrated structural design concept could provide guidance for the current structural design of similar assembly.

• Abstract:Based on the finite element software SIGMASOFT?，the compound filter processes in the rubber filter machine with diamond，triangular，square and concentric circle filter plate hole arrangements were simulated，three-dimensional models of the compound filter were established for these four types of filter plate hole arrangements，and the pressure field，flow velocity field and temperature field of the compound during the compound filter process were analysed.The results showed that，under the same working conditions，the concentric circle arrangement provided the most smooth filter plate hole arrangement for the compound flow.The flow velocity field，temperature field and pressure field of the compound during the compound filter process could mutually be verified each other.

• Abstract:Using the compression set of a certain power battery fluororubber sealing ring（referred to as fluororubber sealing ring） as the aging index，accelerated aging tests were conducted on the fluororubber sealing ring at three temperatures（85，100 and 120 ℃） and two initial compression rates（25% and 40%） to evaluate the reliability of storage life of the fluororubber sealing ring.According to the accelerated aging kinetic equation，the static sealing storage life of the fluororubber sealing ring at a temperature of 80 ℃ and an initial compression rate of 25% was 38.22 a.

• Abstract:The research progress on high temperature resistant nitrile rubber（NBR） compounds for sealing components of oil and gas field drilling tools was reviewed，including direct modification of NBR，blending modification of NBR with other rubber or plastics，adding functional additives，and adopting new processes and materials.The direct modification of NBR and blending modification of NBR with other rubbers or plastics could increase the heat resistance temperatures of the compounds by 10～100 ℃，among them，the heat resistance temperature of NBR compound modified by blending with polyimide had the highest increase.The functional additives could increase the heat resistance temperatures of NBR compounds by 10～35 ℃，among them，the heat resistance temperature of NBR compound adding graphene had the highest increase.The use of new processes and materials could improve the heat resistance of NBR compound and extend the service life at high temperature.
