The application of precipitated silica in tread base compound of truck and bus radial tire was investigated.The results showed that,the carbon black in the formula of tread base compound of truck and bus radial tire could be completely replaced by the precipitated silica.After optimizing the amount of silica and pyrrolidone,the heat build-up and rolling resistance of tire crown could be effectively reduced,and the tire durability colud be improved. |
