A calculate method of tire moment of inertia based on the CATIA software platform was introduced.A three-dimensional solid model of the tire on the CATIA platform was established,and the values to the density of each component of the tire were assigned.The tire moment of inertia was automatically calculated through the CATIA’s own moment of inertia measurement function.At the same time,it could also directly obtain information such as the center of mass,volume and mass of the tire.After comparison and verification of actual measurement,the method had accurate calculation results,simple and convenient operation,not only the accuracy was guaranteed,but also the work efficiency was improved. |
