The theoretical and technological development status of intelligent tires were summarized,the concept,characteristics,functions and classification of intelligent tires were introduced,and the characteristics of representative intelligent tires from well-known foreign tire companies were analyzed. The intelligent tire product systems were developed based on the basic structural characteristics and performance requirements of common tires,integrating advanced digital electronic technology to effectively monitor and predict the working status of tires and automotives,which was conductive to improve the maneuverability,comfort,safety of vehicles,and reduce fuel consumption,and tended to be a key component of automotive safety systems.In the future,intelligent tire system aims to maximize the comfort and safety of autonomous automotives passengers,while taking into account the safety and feelings of other traffic participants. |
