Abstract: The characteristics of Eucommia Ulmoide Gum (EUG) were studied,and the properties of the EUG/NR blends and the EUG/CR blends were investigated,and the application of EUG on spherical joint and air spring were studied in this paper. The results showed that EUG is a crystalline polymer with high hardness and high tensile strength. On the basis of keeping the comprehensive performance unchanged, the flexing fatigue property was greatly improved by the addition of a small amount of EUG in NR or CR. At the same time, the dynamic fatigue property of the anti-vibration products was improved significantly.

Biography:
Dr. Jun Yang got his Ph. D. degree at South China University of Technology (SCUT) in 2001, and now is CEO of Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology co., Ltd (TMT).
Dr. Jun Yang has conducted more 20 nationally and/or provincial key projects, and published 11 patents and more than 90 articles in peer reviewed journals since 2001. Therein, his patent Preparative technique of in-situ grafting rubber damping material won “2011 national outstanding patent award”, and the project “Design, manufacturing and testing technology for wind turbines of high-power wind generator” won “2013 science and technology progress award of Hunan”. In 2010, Dr. Jun Yang was conferred as “The national labor medal”, “Zhan tianyou railway science and technology award for youth” and “Model worker of Hunan”.
