Jianhua Dong

    Position and working place:  Professor, Division Director of Polymer Science,  Department  of  Chemical  Science, National Natural Science Foundation of China, 83# Shuangqing Road, Haidian District, Beijing 100085, China.

    He received B.S degree in 1982 from Zhejiang University, M.S degree in 1985 from the University of Science and Technology of China and Ph.D degree in 1989 from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Science, Beijing. After working as postdoctoral fellow at Peking University from 1989 to 1991, then he joined faculty of College of Chemistry,Peking University, where he was promoted to associate professor. He spent one year as a visiting scholar in Ajou University, Suwon, Korea in 1994 and one year in the City University of New York, USA, in 1995. As one of the co-authors, he received two Awards of Scientific Progress from State Education Committee in 1992 and 1996, published many papers in scientific Journals both domestic and international. He moved to National Natural Science Foundation of China in 1998. He was promoted to full professor in 1999. From Oct.3, 2003, to April,3,2004, He was the visiting professor in College of Polymer Science and Engineering, University of Akron, Ohio, USA. Now He is the division chief and program director in polymer science, Department of Chemical Science, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). Now he is one of the associate editors for “Polymers for Advanced Technologies”. He had served as Vice Chairmen of Polymer Division in Chinese Chemical Society for many years.
