Doctor Guangsu Huang is a full professor at College of Polymer Science and Engineering, Sichuan University, P.R.China. She obtained her bachelor degree of Polymer Chemistry Engineering from Sichuan University in 1982, and later received her master degree and doctor degree of polymer materials from the university. She is now a tutor of doctor students, head of polymer material department in Sichuan University, director of Rubber Association Society of Sichuan Province, and editing commissioner of 2 magazines. As the first author and corresponding author, Professor Huang has published more than 100 papers in international academic journals, and applied 15 Chinese invention patents among which 10 have been authorized.

    In long-time career, her broad research area includes synthesis, characterization and processing of rubber, elastomer, coating, resin gel as well as physical property and aging, anti-aging research on corresponding materials. Recently, as principal of projects or tasks, Professor Huang has assumed or/and completed about 20 items of national natural science foundation projects, national science and technology major project and 973 project etc., from which she reaches fruitful achievements and simultaneously accumulates lots of experience and theory knowledge in rubber synthesis and processing, relationship of multi-level structures and properties, her current research interest concentrating on high performance and functionalization for rubber materials, as well as condensed state physics of rubber nanocomposite materials.
