Gangqiang Sun

    Sun Gangqiang, male, graduated from South China College of Technology (renamed South China University of Technology) in 1986, majoring in Rubber Process, and got his bachelor degrees. After graduated, he engaged in both technology and technical management work in Shenyang Forth Rubber Factory; and served as deputy director and chief engineer in 1996. He transferred to Shenyang Rubber Research and Design Institute in 2004, then served as deputy director in 2007, and as chief engineer concurrently in 2009.
    Ever since he began to work, he has organized 57 national key military projects and large civil projects, such as aircraft aerial refueling pipes, helicopter tanks. Some of the projects have gained “the Third Prize of General Staff Scientific and Technological Achievements”, “the Third Prize of Air Force Scientific and Technological Achievements”, and “the Third Prize of Liaoning Technical Progress”; two projects have obtained “National Invention Patents”; thirteen projects have obtained “National Utility Model Patents”. Moreover, he has been awarded “the Third-Class Merit” by State Commission of Science and Technology for National Defense Industry (COSTIND); the title of “the innovative talents” by Shenyang Science and Technology Association; and “Shenyang Excellent Science Workers. In 2013, he was awarded the “Labor Medal” by Shenyang Labor Union.
