报告题目:New frontiers for Rubber Nanocomposites and Renewable Sources

摘要:

Poly(1,4-cis-isoprene) from Hevea Brasiliensis, natural rubber (NR), has a worldwide consumption of about 12 million tonn/year. In consideration of the predicted shortages and of the diseases that lead to significant crop loss, research on NR is aimed at finding alternative sources. Partenium argentatum, known as guayule (GR) and Taraxacum kok-saghyz, the russian dandelion (TKS), are mainly investigated. In this work, chemical composition of NR samples from different sources was determined and was correlated with properties of neat NR and NR based nanocomposites.
Keywords: Natural Rubber; nanocomposites; mechanical reinforcement; strain induced crystallization.
