Dynamic thermomechanical analyzer(DMA) and rubber processing analyzer(RPA) were compared to detect tread compound filled with different surface area carbon black.The results showed that the dynamic mechanical properties of carbon black filled compound tested by DMA and RPA had the same trend.For sample preparation was simple and convenient,RPA could greatly reduce work and test cost of DMA except low temperature conditions. |
