      用电子放大镜和扫描电子显微镜分别观察4个厂家的不溶性硫黄(IS)和IS混炼胶断面,评价IS在胶料中的分散性能。结果表明,IS形貌和粒径与其在胶料中的分散性能直接相关,微球形、小粒子体积分数大的IS与橡胶相容性好,在胶料中的分散性能好;不规则形、小粒子体积分数小的IS与橡胶相容性差,在胶料中的分散性能差。该方法快捷、直观,可以在测试胶料硫化特性和物理性能前评价IS的分散性能。
英文摘要:
      The dispersion of insoluble sulfur(IS) in rubber compound was evaluated by using electronic magnifier and scanning electron microscope.4 insoluble sulfur powders from different producers and the fractured surface of those IS filled compound were analyzed in this study.It was found that the dispersion of IS highly depended on the morphology and particle size of IS.The compatibility between the rubber and the IS with spherical shape,small particle size but large volume fraction was good and the dispersion of IS was good.On the contrary,the compatibility between rubber and IS with irregular shape,small particle size and small volume fraction was poor and the dispersion of IS was poor.This method was quick,visualized and effective to evaluate IS dispersion before the test of curing characteristics and physical properties of the compound.
